As a general contractor, the O’Connor Company supports clients at every stage of construction and renovation projects. We begin at project inception by helping to evaluate and develop the project designs and the project team. We assist with determining the project’s scope of work and feasibility. Then we coordinate the project team to help ensure the best results.

In the preconstruction phase, we work directly with the project’s design team to gain a full understanding of the project and to assist with value engineering. Other preconstruction tasks include budget review, project scheduling, subcontractor evaluations, bidding assistance, contract preparation and negotiation, permitting, zoning compliance, and administering preconstruction meetings.

When the project moves into the construction phase, the O’Connor Company team is capable of providing full-time on-site supervision, as well as supervision support, as needed. Our experience and skill in construction management adds value to every aspect of building, both on the job site and off. We oversee scheduling, coordinate personnel and materials, maintain job-site safety, and ensure the highest standards of quality are upheld at all times.

After construction is complete, we stay on board to assist with project closeout, including documentation, training implementation, punch-list completion, operations manuals, and more. We also follow up with inspections 6 and 12 months after construction, and we are pleased to assist with warranty administration, as needed.
